THEY MOVED!

Pictures of the trees lined up on the sides of the roads. (It was like a war zone down there.) Pics of shrimp boats in the "safe harbor" up on the sides and of our garage full of trash.

Well, my parents moved back to Orlando! They are renting a home close to Sea World until things finish up back in Mississippi. Then they can look for permanent housing in Orlando. My mom got a new job that she is excited about at the Convention Center which is 2 miles from their house! (I forget which department she's working in. Fill that in later.)
I flew down to Gulfport to help my parents inventory the house for the insurance company. What a fun job that was! Let me tell you about it. 7 hrs a day in a house with no air smelling of mold & mildew! Good times! We had to wear masks and gloves and take breaks outside. You get light headed in there after a while.
They did loose almost everything. Our garage was full of...well...pretty much everything that was in the house! My dad said that we were having a 'State Farm Garage Sale.' :) Such an interesting sight to see most of what they had collected throughout their marriage have to be thrown out.
But I think this is a blessing in disguise. Where God closes doors he opens windows. And even though this was a very big door that was closed, I think many windows of opportunity will open up for my family. I know my mom was dying to get back to Florida and this gave them the opportunity to do so. Things have been slowly coming together and hopefully my whole family will be together in Jan after I get done with the Rockettes. Thank you to those who contributed donations to Red Cross and my family. Everything is greatly appreicated!
